I normally hate getting my photo taken under any circumstances, but I needed some good hi-res shots for a magazine feature. I contacted Margot and it was such an amazing experience! She was super flexible to work around my crazy schedule (and my crazy studio). She completely put me at ease in a way that no other photographer has ever been able to do.... I actually forgot I was getting my photo taken. And the photos turned out amazing! I had no idea how to set up the shots, and Margot completely took control and directed the whole shoot, utilizing all the paintings in my studio and also doing a really fun shoot in the backyard space.
She did such a great job... I couldn't recommend her enough! Super professional... I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I initially met Margot through a referral when I needed a photographer for my baby shower in 2019. Thank goodness for that recommendation because she beautifully captured every moment of our event. From the first consultation phone call I was immediately impressed by the thoroughness and professionalism. She is delightful and made a sincere effort to get a feel for our event and find out what was important to us. Upon arrival she maintained the same professional nature and friendly demeanor. She interacted well with myself and the rest of our guests. The finished product was absolutely gorgeous. High quality photos returned to us in a reasonable amount of time.
Since then, I have called on her a few other times for family photos and pictures of my little boy. With every shot she delivers quality and catches the spontaneity of the moment. She’s very talented. I honestly feel as though we’ve found a special family photographer that we can rely on to document our most precious moments. I had 3 sessions in total with Margot: a portrait shoot at the beach a couple years ago, and 2 maternity sessions this year (one was in an intimate indoor setting, and the other one was outdoors).
Let me tell you... when I saw the pictures I couldn't believe my eyes. Margot's talent behind the camera is incredible, you can tell that she loves what she does and she knows exactly what she is doing. She loves people and is amazing at creating the most comfortable atmosphere for everyone in the photoshoot. She even managed to put my husband at ease (he naturally "feels awkward" when getting his pictures taken), and he looks great on all the pictures! Not only that, but the pictures are magazine worthy and reflect so much emotion.
Everything she photographs is frame worthy.
Margot took the time to understand what we wanted out of the sessions, and she suggested locations, outfits and props. Which I'm so glad she did because I would have not thought of any of that... I appreciated all of her creative ideas in terms of posing, composition and placement. Margot is open to working with whatever comes her way and is a great listener. The sessions were all but boring and we all had good laughs.
I am so happy we have these beautiful photos now. If you have any doubts on your choice of photographer for any meaningful event, I strongly recommend you go with Margot. You won't regret it!

Margrot is all around amazing. She is always quick to get back to you with a response, so easy to book with, helps you pick the perfect location and takes ridiculously amazing photos! Every single one of her photos is so beautiful, I recommend buying the bigger packages because you will want ALL the images! I can't recommend Margot enough! We recently had a family shoot, and let me tell you, it was a challenge. Our toddler was having a "no pictures" day, and our dog decided that chasing squirrels was a top priority. Despite the chaos, Margot was a true professional.

I am a musician and I needed some high resolution photos for my press kit. We scheduled a few hours and she recommended some great spots for outdoor photos that have unique backgrounds. They ended up being excellent places to shoot and she had me try many different poses. It's always difficult to know how to act in front of the camera. She gave me suggestions on movements, poses, and angles which really helped vary the shots and resulted in some fantastic photos. I couldn't be more happy with how the photos turned out. She makes the process comfortable. She has high quality equipment. And most importantly, she has a great eye for creating a photogenic moment. I highly recommend her!

We worked with La Petite Photo for a family season to mark my daughters first birthday and could not have been happier! Margot made the planning process easy and enjoyable. Margot is a lovely person and a very talented photographer! She captured my family perfectly during our shoot. She was also very flexible with a rain delay that kept pushing our session back because she knew our hearts were set on a sunny, outdoor shoot.
